An extremely elegant glazed ceramic urn, entirely handmade with extreme attention to the detail.
The subject depicted on the Lucie Urn is a peacock with golden reflections. A sacred animal to Juno, the peacock was, in the Middle Ages, a symbol of incorruptibility and eternity.Its long green tail was, according to Christian philosophers, a symbol of life after death, and in its color, it harmonized the end of earthly experience with the lush landscapes of paradise.
Technical qualities:
Refined ceramic urn, completely handmade and painted with glazes through a second firing at a temperature exceeding 1000 degrees Celsius. The dimensions of the urn provide an internal volume of more than three liters, making it suitable for housing a body weighing up to 90 kg/198 lb.
