This elegant, handmade bas-relief depicts Hades and Persephone, gods of the underworld, sitting on their thrones. The sculpture, in ceramic, is inspired by a pinax from the 5th century BC now preserved in Reggio Calabria, in the National Museum of Magna Graecia.
Given its double firing at about 1000° C, the sculpture can be placed outside and won't be damaged by sun, cold, rain or ice.
